Support "master" components

Allow for common elements to be replicated on all pages instead of being added to each page separately.
for example, side menu, header, footer, logo, back/next buttons on a multi page form etc. this will allow proper formatting and alignment across all pages instead of trying to align each element in each page.
while editing the element on one page, there should be an option to reflect the edit only on that page or on all pages.

Replace Header and Footer at Once
Hanuman Karhale
When I create 20 pages in one project and after that if i got with any new change in header or footer then now i need to copy pest it into every page of that 20pages, if we come up with the way using which at once i can replace all the header and footers at once then it will be great.

This functionality is a must have. Furthermore, it would also be really great if an action could be applied globally. For example, if you have master template for a navigation and apply a prototype action "navigate to" to one of its items (links), and then add this master component to multiple screens, the navigation item should navigate to a specific screen from all screens which use the master component. At the moment it is really annoying that you have apply prototype action for each single item on each single screen again and again.

As great as the tool is, I don't understand why this feature isn't a priority.
Most design tools are built around instances of template objects injected into pages. Even all websites are built around this idea.
Currently, if you make 30 pages and change a menu item for example, you have to copy the menu 30 times on all the pages. We should be able to change that item once and have it be reflected on all the pages.
From my point of view, while the tool is supposed to save time, this does not make it viable for large projects.

Thanks for your comment. While I find the saved element useful, adding the element across all pages at the right position is a cumbersome task. the idea is to have a page template where some elements are common cross all pages like side menu, header/footer etc. these items should be editable in the template and the changes should appear across all pages without the need add them again and reposition them. this feature is useful for dashboard type applications and long/multi-page form filling use cases. the left menu and header/footer can be frozen and the user can fill multiple pages of the form just by clicking the next button again and again.
also, if i need to have minor changes to the template for each page, that should also be allowed without changing the template. for example, in a multi page form, i want to highlight the pages that are completed and not completed separately. while the left menu for all pages will be common, i should be able to highlight some menu items to mark them as complete and others as incomplete. this way, the user can come back to the incomplete form page and complete them later. this change should be page specific while the overall side menu should remain static. if any change is made in the template, it should have the option to apply it to all pages. the formatting of each element in the template should be at page level.
i hope this is understandable. thanks for creating such an awesome resource. i was looking for a free design tool just to visualize my ideas as a product manager without getting into full blown designing. this has helped me a lot. it is very intuitive and i learned to use it within an hour. i still have a bunch of features to explore.

Hi Rv, thank you for your suggestion. We will definitely consider it for future releases. In the meantime, you can use the “Saved component” function to save the edited style and reuse it on other screens.
All you have to do is select the component, right-click and select “Save for reuse”. Next, open the “Saved” tab in the right panel and drag the saved item to your design. Hope this helps.
We will keep you informed when your suggestion is released. Have a good day.
